Booked vs Vagaro
Vagaro is a broad suite priced around how many people work for you. Booked is narrow, priced per shop, and does not charge more when you hire. If your team is growing and you only need scheduling, that is the difference.

Choose Vagaro when
- You want one system for scheduling, payroll, inventory, memberships and marketing.
- You are a single operator and a per-person price is genuinely small.
- You use their marketplace and class or membership tooling seriously.
Choose Booked when
- You are adding staff and do not want the software bill to move each time.
- You want scheduling done properly rather than forty features used lightly.
- You want setup measured in minutes, without an onboarding call.
Questions
- Does Booked charge per staff member?
- No. Pro includes unlimited staff on one flat plan. Starter covers a single staff member; the step from one to many is a plan change, not a per-head charge.
- Can Booked do payroll or inventory?
- No, and it is not planned. If you need those in one system, Vagaro is the better fit.
