A client on a three-week fill books about 17 times a year. Sell those fills as a package and work out the price and fee before you list it.

Lash clients book fills on a regular cycle after their full set.

If your fill clients come back every three weeks, each one books about 17 fills a year. A package sells several of those fills in one payment.

Work out the year first

Use your own fill price and your own cycle.

At $65 a fill every three weeks, 17 fills is $1,105 a year from one client.

A package collects payment for several of those fills at once.

Price the package

Start from full price. Four fills at $65 is $260.

Any discount is a cost you pay on every fill the client books. Work it out per year:

Package of 4Price per fillCost per client per year (17 fills)
$260$65$0
$240$60$85
$220$55$170

If you take $20 off, check that the package brings in enough extra booked fills to cover $85 per client. If you are not sure, start at full price.

Prepaid fills are money for work you have not done yet. Our note on gift card money makes the same point about gift cards.

Count the card fee

In Booked, the package price includes the card fee of 3.75% + 45¢.

On a $240 package: $240 × 3.75% = $9.00, plus $0.45 = $9.45. You receive $230.55.

On a $260 package the fee is $10.20. Do this sum for your own price before you set it.

Package or membership

Booked has both:

A three-week fill does not line up with a calendar month. Over a year:

OptionVisits paid forFills a three-week client uses
Membership, 1 visit a month1212 (gaps of about 4 to 5 weeks)
Membership, 2 visits a month24about 17 (about 7 visits unused)
Package of 4, bought again when usedas many as they bookabout 17

For a three-week fill cycle, a package matches the visits. A membership suits a client who comes on a fixed monthly schedule.

If you do sell memberships: clients cannot cancel a membership themselves, so tell them to contact you. If a renewal payment fails, the membership becomes past due, and Booked tries again up to 3 times that month.

Set it up in Booked

Packages and memberships need the Pro plan and verified card payouts.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Passes.
  2. Create a package. Name it clearly, for example "4 Classic Fills". Names can be up to 80 characters.
  3. Set the price ($5 to $1,000) and the number of visits.
  4. Link it to your fill service so it is not used on a full set.

Clients buy at booked.co/your-shop/passes. Each booking made with the pass uses one visit.

Write down your own rules for late fills and unused visits, and tell clients at purchase. If you are changing fill prices at the same time, read how to raise prices without losing clients first.

When a fill client is in the chair, book the next fill before they leave. Rebook at the chair, not on the phone covers how.
