Sell packages and memberships
Pro. Sell a set number of visits paid once, or a monthly membership, at booked.co/your-shop/passes.
You can sell two kinds of pass from your Booked page.
- A package is paid once and gives a set number of visits, from 1 to 52.
- A membership renews every month on the card used to buy it, and gives a set number of visits each month, from 1 to 52.
What you need
- The Pro plan.
- Verified card payouts. See Take card payments and get paid.
Create a pass
- Open Dashboard → Passes.
- Choose package or membership.
- Enter a name (up to 80 characters), a price from $5 to $1,000, and the number of visits.
- Optionally choose one service the pass applies to. If you leave it empty, the pass can be used for any service at the shop.
- Save. You can switch a pass off later to stop selling it.
The price includes Booked's card fee of 3.75% + 45¢, the same as deposits.
How clients buy and use a pass
Clients buy passes at booked.co/your-shop/passes. Each booking made with a pass uses one visit.
Memberships
- Each month the membership renews on the same card and the visits are reset to the monthly number.
- Unused visits do not roll over to the next month.
- If a renewal payment fails, the membership becomes past due and has no visits until a payment succeeds. Booked tries the renewal payment up to 3 times for the same month, then stops.
Cancel a pass
Owners and managers can cancel a client's pass from Dashboard → Passes. A canceled membership does not renew. Clients cannot cancel a membership themselves; it renews until the shop cancels it.
