Switch from Square Appointments
How the concepts map, what to export, and what to expect on the fee side.
Square Appointments is a strong tool for shops already deep in the Square ecosystem. Shops that leave Square for Booked usually cite two reasons: they want the appointment page decoupled from the till, and they want a flat, predictable price without a percentage on every service.

Export from Square
- Sign in to your Square Dashboard.
- Customers → Directory → Import/Export → Export to get a CSV of your customer list.
- Items & orders → Services → Export for a service list you can paste into Booked.
Import into Booked
Use Settings → Customers → Import with the Square CSV. Booked's importer recognizes Square's default column headers automatically. Historical appointments do not migrate—only the customer directory.
