The go-live checklist

Fourteen things to confirm before you print the QR code.

You can launch Booked in an afternoon. This is the list we hand every new shop.

Public page

  1. Slug set at Profile → Public URL, matching your other handles where possible.
  2. Shop name spelled the way you introduce yourself.
  3. Address correct, with a map pin that actually points at your door.
  4. Cover photo up (1600×1067 renders cleanly on desktop and phone).
  5. About paragraph written the way you'd talk to a first-time client.

Services

  1. At least three services live, each with a real duration and price.
  2. Services grouped into categories if you have more than five.

Staff

  1. Every staff member listed, with services assigned.
  2. Staff hours set for the current week and the next four.

Hours

  1. Weekly hours match your door sign.
  2. Booking buffer picked (60 minutes is a safe default).

Notifications

  1. Confirmation email tested—book yourself and check the inbox.
  2. If you're on Pro + SMS, send yourself a test reminder.

Billing

  1. Trial or paid plan active. A public page won't take bookings while the subscription is past_due.

Print the page, hand it to someone who doesn't work at the shop, and ask them to book. If they can, you're done.
