Card processing fees

A flat 2.75% all-in when a customer pays a deposit or prepays. No hidden per-transaction cents.

Booked Card Payments is an optional Pro add-on. When enabled, the shop can require a deposit or full prepayment at booking, charged through Stripe Connect.

The one number to remember

2.75% of the charged amount, all-in. That rate includes card-network interchange, Stripe processing, Connect platform costs, and Booked's margin. There are no separate per-transaction cents, no monthly platform fee, and no premium-card surcharge.

Payouts

• Rolling payout schedule, currently 2 business days after each charge.
• Direct to the bank account you connect during Stripe onboarding.
• Refunds return the full amount to the customer, and the 2.75% fee on the refunded charge is returned to you.

Chargebacks

If a customer disputes a charge, the disputed amount and a $15 network dispute fee (set by the card networks, not by Booked) are deducted from your balance. Refunds initiated by you do not trigger a dispute fee.
