Open your Stripe billing portal
Update card, download invoices, change plan, cancel — all in one Stripe-hosted page.
Billing is powered by Stripe. Anything that touches your subscription — card, invoices, plan changes, cancellation — lives in Stripe's hosted portal, so you get the same experience Stripe customers see everywhere.
Steps
- Open Dashboard → Billing.
- Click Manage in Stripe.
- Log in to the same email address you use for Booked.
What you can do in the portal
- Update the card on file.
- Download PDF invoices for every past charge.
- Change plan (Starter ↔ Pro, monthly ↔ yearly) — only if your subscription is the plan on its own. Stripe cannot change a subscription that also carries the SMS add-on or extra locations; you can still cancel from here, and support will move you.
- Add or remove the SMS or extra-location add-ons.
- Cancel your subscription.
Two traps
Inside a free trial, changing plan here ends the trial and charges you straight away. That is Stripe's behaviour for any change to a trialing subscription, not a Booked setting. Wait until the trial has run out.
The portal is your subscription, not your customers' money. Deposits your customers paid, refunds to them and disputes are a different account entirely — those are on your Connect account, and refunds are issued from Dashboard → Calendar on the booking itself. See How do refunds and chargebacks work?.
If a payment fails
Stripe retries over several days and emails you each time. Nothing is switched off on the first failure — update the card in the portal and the retry settles it.
Security
Booked never sees or stores your card number. Stripe holds the card, we hold a customer ID. If your card is compromised, update it in the portal and every future charge picks up the new one automatically.
