Cancel your subscription
Cancels at the end of the current cycle. Your data stays; your public page pauses.
Cancellation is scheduled, not instant. You keep everything working until the end of the current billing period.
Steps
- Open Dashboard → Billing.
- Click Manage in Stripe → Cancel plan.
- Confirm.
The billing panel shows Active until <date>. On that date, the shop moves to a paused state.
What "paused" means
| Item | Behavior when paused |
|---|---|
| Public page | Shows "Booking paused" instead of the booking form |
| Dashboard | Read-only. Calendar, customers, exports still viewable |
| SMS | Stops. Email confirmations for existing bookings still send |
| Data | Retained for 60 days, then purged |
Bookings already in the diary
They stay, and nothing tells your customers otherwise — because as far as Booked knows, the appointments are still on. What stops is the page they would reach to change them, and the automatic reminders.
If you are cancelling with appointments ahead of you, export the list and contact those customers before the cycle ends, while you can still see their details.
Export before the date
Customers, bookings and services all export to CSV and it takes a minute. Read-only access is enough to run an export, but do not leave it to the last day.
Coming back
Re-subscribe from Dashboard → Billing → Reactivate at any point within the retention window. Your public page comes back online within a minute and nothing has to be re-entered. After that there is nothing to bring back.
Deleting your shop entirely
Cancellation does not immediately delete your account. To have the shop and its records permanently removed straight away, email hello@booked.co from the address on file. We honor deletion requests within 30 days.
