Free trial details
14 days free on the plan you pick, no card. Then a further 7-day Stripe trial if you choose Starter at checkout.
There are two separate free periods in Booked, which is one more than most people expect. Knowing which is which saves an argument later.
The free period you get at sign-up
A new shop is given 14 days from the moment it is created. No card, no checkout, nothing to cancel. Your booking page is live for the whole of it.
- Bookings taken during it are real bookings, not a sandbox. Your customers get real confirmations and your calendar keeps them.
- Nothing is charged and nothing expires at the end except the free period itself.
It runs on the plan you signed up for
Starter is Starter and Pro is Pro, during the trial as much as after it.

Nothing is re-entered if you change your mind — subscribing to the other plan takes effect immediately and your data is untouched.
The trial attached to checkout
When you subscribe, Starter adds a further 7-day Stripe trial before the first charge. A card is collected at that point, because it is a subscription with the first payment deferred rather than a free period. Pro has no checkout trial — subscribing to Pro charges immediately.
So: 14 days free with no card, then, if you choose Starter, another 7 before any money moves.
What happens when the free period ends
You are prompted to subscribe. If you do not, the shop's public page and dashboard are paused, and your data is retained for 60 days so you can return without losing anything. Nothing is deleted at the moment the trial lapses.
Testing without taking real bookings
Book yourself. Use your own email, take the slot, then cancel it from the confirmation link — the whole loop, including the messages, in about a minute.
