Why Booked is small on purpose
Every feature we do not build is one you do not pay for. Here is the trade.
Booked has a narrow feature list on purpose. The alternative—the giant multi-industry platform—costs more, moves slower, and buries the two things you actually do every day (looking at the calendar, taking a booking) under fourteen menus.
What "small" gets you
- Predictable prices. No enterprise upsells, no per-booking fees.
- Fast pages. Your public page loads in under a second on mobile.
- No dark patterns. Cancel from the customer portal in two clicks.
- Focused updates. The team ships to the calendar and the booking page, not to a fitness-class module.
What "small" costs you
- No POS. Use your existing till.
- No inventory or retail tracking. Same.
- No marketing automation. Transactional messages only; use a dedicated tool if you send campaigns.
- No multi-location aggregation. One shop per subscription.
If the trade-off suits how you actually run the shop, Booked will fit. If it does not, we will tell you so—see Who Booked is for.
